A Community Response For Families With Children In Homeless Situations

Our Services

IHN provides an opportunity for families to stay together while they are homeless, thereby keeping the children out of the foster care system.

IHN provides families with a non-institutional environment while they work to achieve self-sufficiency.

IHN provides an opportunity for volunteers to provide hospitality and service to families struggling to once again experience independent living.

We have a specially trained staff which provides case management services.

Our Day Center           *Click here for directions to our day center.

Guests use our Day Center from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, where a specially trained employee provides case management services.  At the Day Center, guests are encouraged to pursue employment and affordable housing, tend to pre-school children, shower, and do laundry.  The day center provides guests with a mailing address and a base for housing and employment searches.  Some guests are employed during the day, while older children attend school.
